About Joy Ellen Miserendino, Esq.

Attorney Joy Ellen Miserendino was born in Western New York and raised in Angola. After graduating from Lakeshore Central High School, she attended the State University of New York at Buffalo graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, magna cum laude. Following graduation from college, she moved to Boston, where she worked as a registered occupational therapist in a head injury unit providing rehabilitation services to individuals who had sustained serious injuries in accidents.

After working for two years as an occupational therapist, Attorney Miserendino attended Boston University’s School of Law; one of the country’s top-rated law schools. Following graduation from law school, she returned to the Buffalo area and began practicing law with her father, Samuel R. Miserendino Sr., at his well established firm.  She has been practicing for over 30 years as a trial lawyer concentrating in personal injury claims which involve automobile accidents, work-related accidents, product liability accidents and premises liability. She has achieved numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.
